From the Leadership Team

The beginning of Term 3 and a new semester brings with it a sense of renewed focus, fresh goals, and exciting opportunities.

It has already been a full and meaningful start to the term, particularly for our Year 12 students who recently participated in their Year 12 Retreat; an important milestone that encourages reflection, connection, and preparation as they move closer to final exams or the completion of their courses.

Next Monday, we remind all parents and carers of Year 12 students to attend the Year 12 Learning Conversations and SATAC Information Session.

This is a key opportunity to support your child’s post-school planning and to engage in important conversations about their learning progress and next steps.

The start of a new semester is also the ideal time for all students to reflect on their Semester 1 reports and to set refreshed goals for the term ahead. Whether it’s improving in a subject, committing to wellbeing, or strengthening friendships, we encourage each student to begin this new chapter with purpose and hope.

As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing the whole student, families will begin receiving Pastoral Care notifications titled Endeavour Way in Action.

These affirmations recognise students who demonstrate our core values, Love, Courage, Forgiveness, and Hope, in active and meaningful ways.

While we will still communicate Reminders, when necessary, these new notifications are a way to celebrate the positive behaviours and growth we see in our students.

Keep an eye out for them via TASS.

As we enter this new term, we are reminded of the promise found in Isaiah 40:31:

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

We look forward to a term of learning, growth, and hope together.
