UniMelb x VTAC

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming ‘Applying to UniMelb through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC)” webinar next Wednesday 6 August between 6-7pm AEST.

 

This session is tailored for interstate applicants and will go through the undergraduate courses at Melbourne and their entry requirements, the role of VTAC for applications and receiving offers, information about our special consideration and equity scheme, Access Melbourne and an introduction to Murrup Barak, who are our dedicated support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.

 

We’ll have a live Q&A running throughout the session where students will be able to get tailored advice for their future studies.

New-Gen textiles: what’s old is new again (online exhibition) 20 November 2025 – 31st January 2026

The Western Australian Fibre and Textile Association (WAFTA) and Food Fibre and Timber Industry Training Council (FFTITC) are collaborating on the presentation of an online exhibition featuring new gen makers using textile-based media in their work. This is a call for secondary and post-secondary student submissions for the exhibition.

Water Corp Traineeships

The Water Corporation is offering a 2 year traineeship where successful applicants will:

  • Be employed full-time by the Water Corporation (2 year initial contract starting on $65k+);
  • Attend TAFE every semester, studying a nationally-recognised Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering (completed in the 2 years).
  • Have career opportunities moving forward if they perform well.

The Water Corporation only recruit every two years, and this is a recruitment year: Engineering Associate Traineeships (EATs).

 

The applications for the Engineering Associate Traineeship (EAT) have recently opened, and close on 5 October 2025 (3 months time).
