From the Principal

We have come to the End of Term 2 and we would like to thank all our students and parents for all the hard work and involvement in activities throughout this term.

To all staff who have delivered learning in engaging and exciting ways for all students. Reports were sent home on Wednesday. All parents should be able to access reports, please read the emails sent out on Wednesday carefully and set up your access if needed.  We encourage parents to download you child/ren's report for future reference especially for students moving to secondary where you will be required to give the secondary school a copy.

Just a reminder about the change in reports with Mathematics:

From 2025, schools are required to report against Mathematics Version 2.0 across Levels Foundation to 10 with an overarching teacher judgement each semester to report on student progress. Teachers are now required to provide a single, aggregated score in Mathematics. This is reflected in this Semester’s report with a separate section for the Victorian Curriculum Mathematics Version 2.0 in the Curriculum Achievement Section of the Report.

Its important to celebrate your child’s learning and progress over the term and semester. If you have any questions please speak to your child’s home group teacher.

We wish all our community a safe and restful break and we look forward to Term 3 which is shorter - 9 weeks but jam packed with exciting events.  Please read you parent newsletter for Term 3 which was also sent out on Wednesday as there are events listed for next term but also check the school dates in the newsletter.

What a fantastic end to Term 2 with the Pizza Fun Lunch and Soccer Fun Day

A big thank you to the Parents and Friends Association for generously providing a delicious pizza fun lunch to all students today – it was greatly appreciated by everyone!

The staff and parent versus Year 6 soccer match was an exciting spectacle, full of energy, thrills, and a few entertaining spills along the way. Both sides played with determination and spirit, keeping the crowd engaged from start to finish. The Year 6 students showed great teamwork and enthusiasm, but in the end, the experience and coordination of the staff and parents proved too strong. With some impressive goals and solid defense, the match concluded with a 4–0 victory for the staff and parents. It was a fun and memorable event for everyone involved!

Please Note:  School Closure Day  -  Friday 25th July

Will be a school closure date as we have a staff professional Learning day.  Kharisma Kids will be operating on this day. Please see Kharisma Kids section of this newsletter for the programme and booking details.
