Stage 3’s Adventure at the Great Aussie Bush Camp

Last week, our Stage 3 students embarked on an unforgettable journey to the Great Aussie Bush Camp – a place where adventure meets personal growth. With the support of an enthusiastic and experienced team, our students were encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, challenge themselves, and discover new strengths.

From high ropes and canoeing to team-building activities and campfire fun, every moment was designed to inspire confidence, resilience, and lasting friendships. The camp’s mission to empower young people and create lifelong memories was truly brought to life through laughter, courage, and a whole lot of fun.

We’re incredibly proud of our students for embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and heart. The memories made at camp will no doubt stay with them for years to come!

Winter brings with it more colds and flu. It is a good time for parents to remind your child/children of hygiene protocols such as making sure they regularly wash their hands, how to use a tissue hygienically, sneezing into their elbow, making sure they eat healthy food to keep themselves healthy throughout the Winter months. If you child is unwell, please keep them at home.

100 Days of Kindergarten

On Friday 1st August our Kindergarten students marked a major milestone — 100 days of learning, growing, and having fun! From counting collections to dressing up as 100-year-olds, the day was filled with joy, creativity, and a whole lot of excitement. It’s been incredible to watch our youngest learners blossom over the past 100 days. We’re so proud of their achievements and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!

Wellbeing: 75 Things You Should Say to Your Child More Often

I make it a point to say positive things to my students each day.

I often say things like, “I enjoy teaching you!” or “You have a kind heart!”

I know it isn’t always easy to find the right words to say, so this week’s parenting guide,   is a great list of ideas you can pull from.

Lockdown

Book in a Box: K-6 Information Outline          Years 2-6 Presentation Days

‘Book in a Box’ is a chance to bring your favourite book to life by putting together objects that relate to your book and using them to tell the story of what your book is all about. It involves decorating a box and filling it with items that represent different aspects of a book, allowing for a creative and engaging way to showcase the story. This project includes decorating the interior and exterior of the box to reflect the book's themes, summarising the plot and characters, and including objects that

relate to the story, with accompanying

explanations or quotes from the book.
