Spotlight on Learning

Dear Foundation Families, 

Thank you for all the donations for the Opening the Doors Foundation, we loved seeing all the fun shoes and socks ! 

A friendly reminder that Monday the 11th of August is a school closure day. 

Over the next few weeks we are raising awareness for the fundraising for Natasha's garden, please see the flyer below.

Religious Education Focus

This week, we are beginning our focus on creation. Students will learn about the creation story from Genesis. 

English Focus

We are working on building words with 4 and 5 sounds, like flat or flint. 

Mathematics Focus

We are focusing on addition through number stories. 

Social and Emotional Learning

Next week, it is the Bullying No Way: National week of action. We will learn about what we do when someone is being bullied and how to be an upstander. 

Auslan Focus

Next week, we are practicing all the signs we have learnt so far.

School Closure - Monday 11th August 2025

Reminders

No toys, stickers or pencil cases at school please. Students have everything they require for fun and learning supplied at school! If toys, stickers or other items are brought from home, teachers will remove the item and return it at the end of the day.

Please ensure you are packing your child brainfood each day!
