AAC / Communication

Students have been engaging in rich learning activities, incorporating both low and high tech Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Students who have their own AAC are encouraged to get their ‘voice’ and bring it with them when transitioning around the school, specialist classes and at playtimes.

Just a friendly reminder to please ensure your child brings their AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device to school each day. These devices are essential tools that support students in their learning, communication, and participation throughout the school day.

Having access to their AAC devices helps your child express themselves, engage with peers and staff, and make the most of their educational experience. If you have any questions or need support with the device, feel free to reach out.

Thank you for your continued support!
