Music Camp

Last week, 72 musicians from the Chamber Strings, Symphonic Band and Colla Voce Senior Vocals attended the 3-day annual Music Camp in Healesville for intensive rehearsal time and team building.

This camp also includes the House Music Competition where students from each House come together to perform a song/item based on their house’s colour. Congratulations to Chisolm, then Dunlop in 2nd place with Bradman and Sutherland tying for 3rd place.

AUSTA String Orchestra Festival this Sunday

20 string players from the Sempre Strings and String Group ensembles will be taking part in a special workshop this weekend at Eltham High School, run by the Australian Strings Association.

More than 100 string players from a range of government and independent schools will come together to rehearse and perform a work especially commissioned for this event.

Please note this date in your diary now, and don’t delay in ordering your Performing Arts uniform from PSW if you don’t already have these uniform items.
