Last week we welcomed to the college our Italian Language Assistant, Ilaria Gabrieli, who has joined us here from Rome until the end of the year. 

Ilaria was welcomed with open arms by both the Italian team and the many students she was able to meet and work with. A team dinner allowed the Italian staff members to get to know each other and to share stories.

Profile - Ilaria Gabrieli

Hello everyone, my name is Ilaria, I'm from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and I'm thrilled to join the school community as the new Italian Language Assistant. 

I am grateful for the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn more about teaching from the talented professionals here, and I'm looking forward to contributing in any way I can to the success of all the students, particularly to the year 11 and 12 students on their VCE journey. Thank you for the warm welcome, non vedo l'ora di cominciare!
