EDSC Reading Challenge results for April
We’ve tallied up the EDSC Reading Challenge results for April, and students have done an excellent job! At the end of April, students had read 1,676 books.
Congratulations to Matthew - 7R who won April’s monthly Reading Challenge prize draw. Matthew wins a choice from our prize box full of bookmarks and badges.
The EDSC Reading Challenge is part of the Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge, with added prizes. It runs each year and all EDSC students and staff can take part. All the books read from January 1 until September 1 should be added into the Reading Challenge Google Form.
Students can read ANY books they like (excluding early childhood picture books). Students can read graphic novels, manga, English class novels, books in another language, poetry, non-fiction, eBooks, audiobooks, and more!
There are plenty of prizes on offer throughout the year and any student who reads and verifies 15 books will be invited to our end of year pizza party and receive a certificate and EDSC house points.
All details are on our Reading Challenge webpage.
