Environment Club mini forest

Amazing scenes outside the Kulin rooms this week as the Environment Club’s planting from last year has paid off. We now have a lush patch of bushland for plants, animals and students to enjoy in the centre of our school.

The Environment Club did some weeding last week to ensure the space is primarily dedicated to our native plants. We were very pleased to see spiders, bugs and witchetty grubs in the soil, which means the soil is now in good condition and supporting all kinds of life forms.

Can You Help the Environment Club?

We are excited to be expanding our environment club’s gardening program, creating a hands-on experience that fosters curiosity among our students. However, we need your help!

Do you have old gardening equipment, native or fruiting plants cluttering up your house? We kindly request that you consider donating them to EDSC.

If you have something you would like to donate, please email Nicola Ritchie at Nicola.Ritchie@education.vic.gov.au

Thank you for your kindness and support.
