Assistant Principals' Report

Hello everyone and welcome to our newsletter article,

On Friday 9th May, we will be recognising Do It For Dolly Day by asking all students and staff to come to school dressed in blue. Blue is the colour chosen to support this important day, which promotes kindness, respect, and inclusion.

Do It For Dolly Day is a reminder for everyone to be kind — both in person and online. It’s about speaking kindly, including others, standing up for those who are treated unfairly, and helping to create a school where everyone feels welcome and safe.

We are encouraging each class to mark the day with a lesson focused on bullying (in person or online), kindness, or respect — whichever theme best suits the year level., it would be greatly appreciated.

Our SRC and Year Level Ambassadors will be helping to collect photos of student work on the day to feature in next week’s school newsletter.

There will also be a gold coin collection to support the cause.

I have included some articles to support parents in having conversations with their children about bullying and cyberbullying.

Thank you for your support in helping us create a culture of kindness.

Have a lovely weekend and week ahead.
