At St Johns Park Public School, Special Religious Education (SRE) is delivered on Tuesdays 9.10 - 9.40am.
On enrolment, parents/carers are given the SRE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child’s enrolment in SRE should be in writing.
To allow greater access to the Buddhist SRE program, beginning this week Buddhist SRE classes will be conducted with Year 1 and Year 2. Year 3 and Year 4 students who previously accessed the program will join the non SRE groups.
The following SRE classes are offered at St Johns Park Public School in Term 2 Weeks 4-10, 2025:
Islamic SRE Kindergarten – Year 2 Class and Year 3 – Year 6 Class

Anglican SRE Kindergarten – Year 2 Class, Year 3/4 Class and Year 5/6 Class

Catholic SRE Kindergarten, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Classes

Non SRE
During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending religious instruction will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities.
