Principal's Report

D. Donatiello

Thank You

I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible support you have shown for our recent school events. The events such as the sausage sizzle, Mother's Day Stall, wearing green/pink, walking safely to school make a significant impact, creating memorable experiences for our students and fostering a strong sense of community.

Whether you volunteered your time, contributed resources, or attended our events, your involvement demonstrates the commitment we all share to enhance our students' educational journey. It is this collective effort that helps us create a nurturing and vibrant environment for our children to learn and grow.

Thank you once again for your ongoing support. I look forward to seeing you at our future events as we continue to work together to make our school a wonderful place for our students.

Upcoming Events

Wear Yellow Day - Week 4

On Wednesday 21st May, we are raising money for the Cancer Council by wearing yellow to school and donating a gold coin. Cancer Council is the only charity that works across every area of cancer, from research to prevention and support.

  • It was estimated that in 2024 there would be around 169,500 cases of cancer diagnosed, and around 52,700 deaths from cancer in the same year.

I hope that you will help us to raise money for this very worthy cause.

Food Allergy Week - Week 5

Food Allergy Week was created by Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia to raise awareness of food allergy in Australia. Awareness and education help reduce the risk of allergic reactions, and effectively treat potentially life-threatening emergencies when they happen.

As mentioned in our last newsletter, we have numerous students with food related allergies. By being a part of Food Allergy Week, we hope to help increase awareness and share information on what we can all do to improve safety for people who live with food allergies. All classes will be learning about food allergies and how to 'Be a Mate' to help students with allergies to be safe.

Thank you to Ms Marly Heng for accessing the free resources, that each student will receive, to help raise awareness for our whole school community.

Celebrating Student Success

Many students at our school have talents that we would like to acknowledge and celebrate in our newsletter. We have a page in our newsletter where we will celebrate student success. In this edition we are celebrating Vi An and Jonathan. Please take a look.
