The 2025 School Production

It’s Showtime! Shrek Jr. The Musical is Underway!
Rehearsals are in full swing for this year’s school production, Shrek Jr. The Musical, and the excitement is building! Our talented students have been working incredibly hard — learning lines, discovering their characters through engaging drama workshops, and growing in confidence with each session.
We are also calling on our wonderful parent community to help behind the scenes! There are so many ways you can get involved — whether you can sew a button, use a hot glue gun, hold a paintbrush, help sort costumes, or assist with the creation of the program/playbill. No specific skills are required — just a willingness to lend a hand and be part of the fun. If you’re available to help in any way, we’d love to hear from you! Please email Peta Murray at peta.murray@education.vic.gov.au to register your interest or drop by our production stall at Education Week - Open Afternoon.
Let’s work together to make Shrek Jr. The Musical an unforgettable experience for our young performers and our whole school community!
Donations:
During production years, we are always on the lookout for things to repurpose and use to make props and costumes.
At the moment, it's coat hangers!
We need to organise and hang over 1000 pieces of costume, so if you have any spare or unwanted coat hangers at home - plastic, wire or wooden - we would greatly appreciate your donation. They don't need to be new, just clean and in usable condition.
Please send any hangers in with your child or drop them off at the Performing Arts room.
