Cross Country

Another great day for Cross Country. Hosted at The King's School, the boys navigated tight turns and uneven ground resulting in a couple of scraps and rolled ankles. It was great to see so many athletes attend despite having soccer matches later in the day. Thank you as always to the parents/carers for making this commitment with their sons. Next week we return to Upjohn Park where the team will be able to compare times.

Football

The First XI continued their dominant start to the season with a 6 – 1 victory over archrivals St Pius X College, who knocked our boys out in the semi-final last year. The dominant victory demonstrates all the hard work that has been put in by the team in the pre-season.

The ISA Opens Football trials were held at Macquarie University on Monday 12 May. Congratulations to Sebastian Lombardo, Cristian Lombardo and Alessandro Piccin who were successful in making the 20-man squad that will continue to trial next week. Congratulations and good luck!

Special shout out to the 14 D Football team for a huge eight goals to nil victory over St Pius X College. This victory has now given me, as caretaker football coach a 50% success rate as a Football coach.

Tennis

Overall, we had a very successful weekend of Tennis with seven victories, one draw and only two losses. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication put in by coaches and players. Best of luck this weekend as we take on Oakhill College, St Andrew’s and Oxley College.
