What does it mean to be an Anglican school?
Winter is Coming – Can you help?
Echuca Moama Community Projects is running their annual Winter Coat and Blanket drive to support people in need in our community. If you have any clean and unwanted coats or blankets, please drop them off at our Primary or Main Reception. Our Community Spirit Captain Cara Haley will coordinate their delivery on behalf of our school community. The coats can be in children's or adult sizes, and any donations are greatly appreciated.

Easter and a Baptism at Christ Church Anglican Echuca
It was exciting on Easter Sunday morning! We celebrated not only Jesus’ resurrection, but also the Baptism of a Moama Anglican Grammar staff member, Clare O’Neill with her Sponsor Rev. Theo Van der Nest. Our church was filled with locals, visitors and school families as we celebrated with joy and hope.
Chrism Service
I was able to visit the Riverina Diocese Cathedral in Griffith for their annual Chrism service during which clergy renew their ordination vows and the Bishop blesses the oils used in prayer for the sick, ministry to the dying and for baptism. It was a beautiful symbol of continuity, as this very oil was used the following Sunday for Clare’s baptism.
You can see Rev. Theo Van der Nest and myself in the picture below with Bishop Donald and the Riverina Clergy.
Bishop Donald passes on his Easter greetings to our school community! Christ is risen. Alleluia. He is risen indeed. Alleluia.
3 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."— 1 Peter 1:3
