Year 6 After School Rehearsals

Dear Year 6 Families,
We encourage all Year 6 students to keep learning their lines and practising at home. Please watch the rehearsal videos on Google Classroom and take notes (movements, mics, etc.) in your script so you don't forget it all by the time we run through the whole musical in Week 6.
Year 6's, you're doing amazing - keep it up!
Year 6 rehearsals for the school musical, ‘Not Your Average Joe’ will take place in the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) auditorium on Mondays after school. These are the only drama rehearsals, so attendance is compulsory. For duty of care requirements, students must be picked up from the PAC by their carer, or a note needs to be provided to Miss McKennall, Mrs Spencer or Mrs Tretheway prior to rehearsals beginning (for example, if a student is being picked up by someone else). In the past, the staff at OSHC have collected students who would normally be at OSHC for that afternoon, so check with OSHC about this. Wherever possible, we have allowed for earlier pick-up times so please check the schedule carefully.
Students will need to bring extra food (breaks will be given), water bottles, their scripts and a pencil. We also recommend bringing a quiet activity (no devices). Sometimes a student has a break whilst we rehearse a scene they are not involved in. We try to keep this to a minimum, but it is not always possible to avoid.
