Principal's Message

Community Engagement

Thank you to the members of the new community engagement sub-committee who came together for our first meeting this week.

The purpose of the committee is to:

Support the school’s goal of fostering strong, inclusive, and respectful partnerships between the school, families, and the wider community. The committee works to enhance community involvement in school life and ensure that all families feel welcome, informed, and valued.

Its objectives are to:

  • Develop initiatives that strengthen school-community partnerships
  • Support communication and collaboration between the school and its diverse community
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for community involvement in learning, events, and school improvement

The committee reports to School Council and will meet twice per term. Please keep an eye out for further updates from the team.

Education Week Open Morning

Thank you for joining your children in their learning as part of our Open Morning on Tuesday. The school was full of excitement as students and families engaged in a range of hands-on activities. These are valuable opportunities to connect with the learning that takes place in our classrooms and we love seeing parents, carers and grandparents in the school.

Election Day BBQ

Thank you to our staff and parents who assisted with the BBQ on election day. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed seeing so many school families who came along to vote and buy a sausage in support of the school. We raised approximately $1,000 which was a great effort.

Pedestrian Safety

Your child’s safety is our priority so please use the crossing in Shepherd Croad and ensure that you are following the road rules when driving your children to school. Monash Council are active in our area and you will be fined if you are doing the wrong thing, but most importantly, we do not want anyone getting hurt. Please do the right thing for the safety of our students and community.
