From the Principal
Welcome back to Term 2!
It is great to see the ramps and flags up and running and the new paths completed with the new edging and fencing around playgrounds nearing completion. The new ramps to the art room and Year 3 hub are now awaiting handrails which could take until the end of term.
District Cross Country took place yesterday with Mr Liston taking our team of runners to the event. Thank you to the parents who helped with the day. A group of our Year 6 students attended the Box Hill Anzac Day service and Mrs Pemberton and myself also took our school leaders to the Shrine of Remembrance for the Legacy Schools Anzac Day service where we lay a wreath on behalf of the school.
This year as part of our reporting processes we have transferred our portfolio work onto Compass where they appear as Learning Tasks. Please take some time to have a look at this work. Andrew Moore will send out a survey to ask for parent feedback in the coming few weeks.
Thank you to the parents who came to help with our Mother's and and Special Person's Stall this week. We wish all the mum's, grandmums, step mums, foster mums and all other mother figures in our families a fantastic day next Sunday.
