Advent
As we enter the season of Advent, this coming Sunday, our school community begins a time of preparation, reflection and hope. Advent marks the start of the Church’s liturgical year and invites us to pause and prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus at Christmas.
During these four weeks, we focus on themes of hope, peace, joy and love, symbolised by the candles on the Advent wreath. It is a gentle reminder for families to slow down in the busyness of December and make space for kindness, prayer, and acts of generosity.
At school, students will be engaging in Advent prayers and activities that help them understand the true meaning of the season. We encourage families to join us by sharing simple moments of gratitude and reflection at home as we journey together towards Christmas.
Advent Prayer
Loving God,
As we begin this Advent season,
help us to prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus.
Bring hope to our days,
peace to our words and actions,
joy to our classrooms and homes,
and love to everyone we meet.
Guide us to slow down, to listen,
and to make room for You.
May this season bring us closer to one another and closer to Jesus,
the Light of the World.
Amen.

Food Drive
Our annual St Vincent de Paul Christmas Food Drive is now underway. This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to support families in need during the festive season.
We warmly invite all families to contribute non-perishable items to help make Christmas a little brighter for others. Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.
Please see the flyer below for details on how you can take part.
