Principal's Update

Dear Families,

The children from our parish have prepared for the Sacrament of Reconciliation with the help of their parents, parishioners and staff from St. Francis of the Fields and St. Therese's over the past five weeks.

This preparation culminated with the Sacrament of Reconciliation being received on 27 & 28 October. Congratulations to each of our children receiving their second sacrament! We look forward to you being peace givers of our world

I share with you this beautiful reconciliation prayer...

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for loving us so much.

We are sorry for the times we make mistakes or hurt others.

Help us to be brave when we say sorry and to forgive like You do.

Thank You for the Sacrament of Reconciliation,

where we can start fresh and feel Your peace in our hearts.

Teach us to listen to You and make good choices every day.

Bless our friends, teachers, and families,

and help us share Your love with everyone.

Amen.

Memorial Service

November is Remembrance month. This Friday 7 November, at 11.45am, our whole school community will gather at the Memorial Garden to remember all those who have died – family members, staff, friends and those who have had special connections with our school community.

All families are invited to be part of the liturgy so that we can pray for those who will always belong to the St. Francis family.

All other community members are most welcome to attend our Memorial Service with Fr. Jake Mudge.

Instrumental Concert

Congratulations to each of our musicians who performed at our recent Instrumental Concerts yesterday. Like all learning, persistence and practice are required to become more expert in our fields of learning.

It is a wonderful celebration of the grit and determination displayed by our students and the care and patience shown by our instrumental teachers. Well done!

Foundation Transition Sessions

Our kinder students will be able to enjoy their next transition sessions on:

  • Friday 14 November

All families know their times as they have been sent their time slots.

We look forward to learning more with our new and existing families.
