Together for Safe Drop‑Off and Pick‑Up

Keeping our children safe starts on the streets around our school, especially at the front of the school during busy drop‑off and pick‑up times. We’ve noticed some unsafe behaviours, including double‑parking and quick stop and go drop‑offs, which are both dangerous and illegal. We’re asking for your support to create a calm, caring environment that reflects our school values; Respect, Learning and Cooperation, by modelling the choices we want our children to make. When families, staff, and the community work together, we build a culture of safety, kindness, and responsibility that benefits everyone.

Please use designated parking and drop‑off areas, avoid double‑parking or stopping in ‘No Stopping’ and ‘Keep Clear’ zones, and always pull in safely to the kerb so children can step out on the footpath side. Please use the crossings and follow the directions of the school crossing supervisor. Drive slowly and attentively in the 40 km/h school zone, avoid U‑turns near the school, and keep driveways and intersections clear. If you can, try a short “park and stride” from a little further away to ease congestion. Above all, be patient and respectful to our neighbours and to one another. Thank you for helping us keep every child safe while living our values of Respect, Learning and Cooperation together.

Friendly Reminders:

  • Drop Off is between 8.35am to 8.45am, to provide enough time for your child to arrive at the 8.50am soft start time. This will help avoid congestion on the roads when dropping your child at school.
  • If your child arrives after 8.50am, parents are to sign their child in at the front office using the kiosk.
  • The gates are locked at 8.51am and the electronic sliding door in the front foyer is locked at 9am.
  • The process for Parents who collect their child before 2.45pm are to come to the front office and when their child arrives at the office, please enter their early departure at the front kiosk.
  • Children will not be allowed to wait at the office for parents to collect them. When the parent arrives, the office will call their child to the office.
  • Parents cannot pick up their child after 2.45pm.
  • Lunch is 11.40am to 12.10pm and Recess is 1.50pm to 2.20pm - Please avoid picking up your child during these times, as children do not hear the announcements whilst playing in the school yard and they cannot collect their bags because the classrooms are locked.
  • Please label your child’s clothing and hat, as we have had an increase of lost property.
