Australian Mathematics Trust Competitions – 2025 Highlights

This year, our students excelled in three prestigious Australian Mathematics Trust competitions: Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT), Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC), and Kangaroo (KSF). These events challenge students to apply advanced reasoning and problem-solving skills beyond the classroom.

We extend special commendation to our High Distinction achiever, Jack (Year 8), in the CAT competition, a remarkable accomplishment that places him among the top performers nationally.

In addition, several students earned Distinction awards, reflecting outstanding mathematical ability. In CAT, Alicia and Finn (Year 7) and Will (Year 8) achieved this honour.

In AMC, Alicia, Justin, Timofey, and Ava (Year 7), along with Ella and Ashton (Year 8), distinguished themselves, while Alfie and Darian (Year 9), led the intermediate division.

For KSF, Timofey (Year 7) and Arlia (Year 8) earned Distinction, joined by Hayden (Year 10) and Darian (Year 9) in the senior group.

We also recognise the many students who attained Credit and Proficiency awards across all competitions. Their dedication and perseverance exemplify our commitment to academic excellence.

Congratulations to all participants for their impressive achievements.
