Everyone is welcome to attend the worship service held in the church each Sunday at 9.30am. Tea and coffee are offered for an opportunity for fellowship after the service each week.
DID YOU KNOW? All Saints Day is celebrated on the 1 of November every year and is a good time to face death and sadness with hope and courage. In the Church we remember and give thanks to God for Christians who have died in the faith and during the service, we light candles to remember those friends and loved ones. The Bible verses 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 remind us that while we grieve those gone before us, we have hope that all people who live in Jesus, both living and dead, will be there on the day when He returns and will live with him together forever in Heaven.
‘Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.’ Luke 6:21b
This Sunday, 2 November, we will commemorate All Saints Day and during the worship service there will be a rite of remembrance to honour persons of faith who have died this past year believing in Christ Jesus and His salvation.

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.
Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.
This week the Bible verses, related to all Saints Day, reflect the promises of heaven and a life with God forever. To live in a place where there is no sadness, no hurts, pain or grief. Where everything is perfect – God’s ultimate plan for those who love him.
[Of the Kingdom of Heaven] “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or sadness. There will be no more crying or pain. Things are no longer the way they used to be.” – Revelation 21:4

Lord, as we await our home in heaven, bless our home on earth. As you fill our stomachs with food, please fill our hearts with faith. Amen.
Lord Jesus, thank you for giving us a hope and a future. May our whole lives bring praise
to you. Amen.
(Name) May your Father in heaven give you the wisdom and understanding that comes from the Holy Spirit, so that you grow to know God better. Amen.
