Hello from the Captains and Vice Captains of Violet Street Primary,

Recently STEM, the Colour Fun Run and the Grade 5/6 class performance with their buddies have been the talk of the school. First, we will begin by telling you about the Colour Fun Run. The Colour Fun Run was such a big hit last year so we decided to do it again, this time it will have more colour and, in our eyes, it will be more fun, there were some really loved parts of it such as the parachute and the obstacle course that will definitely be back this year.

Another important thing this year is STEM! with Bella and Maya. Every year, two Grade 6 girls get picked for STEM classes to have at the discovery centre, and they get the privilege of making a work shop to teach the other students how to have fun and learn in a safe environment! We are going to be teaching grades 3 to 6 about… Sphero robots!  We will be doing this on 24th November.

Finally, the Grade 5/6 performance with our buddies is also this term! If you’re wondering what it’ll include, the grade 5/6 students playing guitars and their beautiful buddies’ singing voices.
