School Athletics Carnival

We recently held our annual athletics carnival where there were many outstanding performances. A big shout out to all students who competed and scored points for their house.

Our field event finals will be held over the next few weeks.

Names of students who have qualified for the zone carnival in running events has been posted up on the window outside 3/4FS classroom.

The winning house will be announced after all the field events have been completed.

This year we also held a March Past in which the students enjoyed marching in their houses around the oval in front of our 3 special judges, Mrs Soumelidis, Mrs Smithard and Mrs Kelly.

Congratulations go to WATTLE on winning the March Past.

Sydney Southwest Region Cross Country

On Wednesday 10th June, four of our students, Kyrie V, Tailaine U, Adam K and Lucas K represented Bonnyrigg Public School and Green Valley Zone at the region cross country carnival at The Sydney Equestrian Centre at Horsley Park.

Congratulations to all students who performed well on what was a very challenging course.

A special mention to Lucas K who finished 1st in the 10yrs boys multi class race. Lucas will now go on to compete at the NSWPSSA State championships early next term.

Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition

We are incredibly proud of Amy D and Amelia M for representing our school at the local finals of the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition. Competing against students from other local schools, both students demonstrated confidence, preparation and outstanding public speaking skills. They represented our school with pride and gave their very best effort. Congratulations to Amy and Amelia on this wonderful achievement.

Green and Gold Day

Support the Socceroos this Friday 26th June by wearing GREEN and GOLD. This can be green and gold clothing or any Australian jersey.
