From the Principal

Welcome to Week 10!

As we head into the busiest part of the term with assessments, marking and reports I want to thank all my staff for everything they do to support our student's learning.  The time, care and thought they put into marking and report preparation is deeply appreciated and will play an important role in helping to drive our conversations with parents.  

Teachers never stop, even during the busiest periods, they always make time to teach dance, band, coach sports teams, support students in public speaking, and participate in cultural events. I was immensely proud of the attendance and engagement at the Whitlam Centre over the long weekend in support of our Island Warriors. Faafetai tele lava, faamanuia le Atua!

External Validation

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all staff for their dedication and hard work in preparing our External Validation submission. A special thanks goes to the executive team for their leadership and commitment in driving this important process.

External Validation (EV) is a valuable opportunity for our school community to engage in a rigorous review of our teaching and learning practices by external peers. It helps us identify our strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring our ongoing commitment to high-quality education. The insights gained through EV will support us in enhancing student outcomes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Thank you once again to everyone involved as we prepare for our EV meeting in Week 11. Your efforts are instrumental in achieving our shared goals.
