Year 11

As we reach the middle of Term 3, this is a great opportunity for students to pause, reflect and refocus on their goals. With the remainder of the term ahead, students are encouraged to stay organised, keep up with their learning and continue building positive habits as they prepare for Year 12.

Simple Study Tips

• Set a goal: Decide what you want to achieve before you start studying.
• Find a quiet space: Choose a place where you can focus without distractions.
• Put your phone away: Keep your phone out of reach while studying.
• Take short breaks: Study for a set amount of time, then take a short break.
• Stay organised: Keep your notes, books and schoolwork together and up to date.
• Ask for help: Speak to your teacher, mentor or another trusted adult if you are unsure about something.
• Start early: Avoid leaving study and assessment tasks until the last minute.

Reminder: Mobile Phones

Recently, we have noted an increase in mobile phone use and defiance around phone use across the school. We kindly ask that you support us by reminding your child that mobile phones are not permitted at school.

If phones are brought to school, they should be kept securely inside a locked locker, rather than in pockets or pencil cases. If a student needs alternate safe storage, they are welcome to use the locked boxes in the main office.

2027 Year 12 Jumpers

A big thank you to all the students who have expressed interest in joining the 2027 Year 12 Jumper Committee. It has been fantastic to see so many students willing to contribute their ideas, creativity and enthusiasm to this exciting Year 12 tradition.

Over the coming weeks, the committee will begin working together to develop ideas and designs. We look forward to seeing the creativity and collaboration that students bring to the process.  Keep an eye out for when we finalise a design and then the payment process will follow.
