Year 9

It has been another busy time for our Year 9 cohort, with students having opportunities to contribute to our school and wider community. It has been fantastic to see students getting involved, supporting others and demonstrating our College Values through their actions.

Bullying No Way 

As part of Bullying No Way, our Year 9 students took time to focus on the importance of kindness, inclusion and looking out for one another.

Students created petals filled with positive messages and affirmations, recognising the impact that even a few encouraging words can have on someone’s day. These petals came together as a visual reminder that everyone has a role to play in creating a school environment where people feel safe, supported and that they belong.

A big thank you to all our Year 9 students who participated and contributed thoughtful and encouraging messages.

 Year 9 Students Supporting Hooptime

A group of our Year 9 Basketball students also had the opportunity to step into a leadership role by helping to coach and support primary school students at Hooptime.

Our students worked with teams from Berwick Chase Primary School and Beaconsfield Upper Primary School, helping younger students participate, develop their skills and enjoy the day. This was a fantastic opportunity for our Year 9s to demonstrate leadership, communication and teamwork while giving back to our local community. 

We are proud of the way they represented the College and supported the younger students throughout the event.

Uniform Reminder

A reminder to students and families about the importance of wearing the correct College uniform each day. Wearing our uniform correctly helps create a sense of belonging and pride in our College community and ensures students are ready for learning.

We appreciate the support of families in helping students arrive at school in the correct uniform.

Mobile Phones 

Students are reminded that mobile phones should be placed securely in their lockers during the school day. Keeping phones in lockers supports a safer and more focused learning environment by reducing distractions in classrooms and encouraging students to engage with their learning, teachers and peers.

We appreciate the continued support of students and families in following these expectations.
