Welcome Back!

We can't believe we are already entering term 4! This will be another big term and a very special one before the grade 6's get ready for high school next year! 

Term 3 Book week 

What a fabulous day celebrating book week last term! The costumes were amazing and it was such a great day to end the term! 

Education in Faith

Last term, the students were put into groups to create and conduct a prayer service. The students worked collaboratively to put together a slideshow, a running sheet, and an activity. They presented their prayer service to one of the classes in the school. It was a great opportunity for students to practice their speaking and listening skills. We will be focusing more on these skills this term. A big well done to all of the students for a great effort in presenting their first prayer service! 

Literacy 

Last term our focus during writing was on grammar. This term we have begun our grammar focus on Tense (past, present, and future). Miss Melissa came into our class today to present an engaging workshop on the types of tenses, where students got to refresh their knowledge on the topic. We look forward to continuing this and being able to identify the correct use of tense in their own writing.
