Year 10 Engagement Camp
Last week selected students from Year 10 and 11 attended a Well being camp at Queenscliff for a four-day leadership and team-building intensive. The camp was packed full of fun activities designed to promote positive school engagement and well-being. Dot and Dougy ran a series of well-being intensives that allowed students to explore their experiences of community, identity, legacy, and purpose as young leaders in our school and the wider community.
Throughout the camp, there was an overwhelming feeling of positivity and support between students and staff. Each day you could hear the sounds of laughter (even if it was at midnight!), singing, and music, as the students built lifelong friendships and challenged themselves during activities.
This camp was truly such an inspiring experience to be a part of. All the staff that attended are so grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the positive community that was created during those four days. Both staff and students have come away from the camp with positive memories and stronger bonds that will stay with them for life.
