Active Girls Go Ride-A-Wave Excursion

Our adventurous Year 10 Active Girls had a fantastic time riding the waves on their recent surfing excursion.

We made the bus trip down to Anglesea Beach, where we met with the team from Go Ride-A-Wave. After a lesson on the sand, they grabbed their surfboards and bravely embraced the thrill of the ocean, even when faced with less-than-ideal weather conditions. With enthusiasm and determination, they had a go at surfing, showing remarkable bravery in facing the challenges of the waves. This hands-on experience not only provided them with lasting memories but also taught important lessons about perseverance, balance, and the significance of water and beach safety (and how to get in and out of a wetsuit)!

They surfed the waves with enthusiasm, and we couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments.
