Mazenod Music Gala
Tuesday night, over 270 students participated in our Annual Music Gala. The program was varied with everything from classical string pieces to a swing band paying homage to Michael Bublé’s version of Sway.
We also presented several students with awards:

Winter Recital
Thank you to all the students, parents and teachers for making our Winter Recitals a huge success. This was a great opportunity for students to perform in a small environment in front of family and friends.
Victorian Schools Music Festival (VSMF)
Over the last few weeks our Founders Ensemble and Premier Winds competed in the Victorian Schools Music Festival and won gold in their respective categories. Congratulations to the students and to Meg Waugh and Doug Leutchford as their conductors.
AMEB Exams
We have been advised that the exam dates for AMEB will be somewhere between Friday 20th October and Wednesday 1st November. Once we receive the official notifications, we will advise students and parents.
Ensembles and Orchestras
Ensembles and Orchestras are having a well-earned break until week one of Term 4. Remember to check the timetable for days and times.
Please arrive promptly to the rehearsals. If you are not sure what ensemble you are in, please speak to your Instrumental Music Teacher.
Timetables
Term 4 timetables will be uploaded to MazCom in readiness for Week 1. Please make sure your son checks MazCom on a regular basis so that they are following the most recent timetable.
