SLA Learning

SLA started term three with a bang. We embarked on an exciting adventure to Coastal Forrest Lodge in Anglesea. Over the course of three days, we immersed ourselves in nature by going on multiple bushwalks and hiking along the beach. We had the chance to observe a variety of wildlife and participated in a range of enjoyable activities. Here are some comments from SLA students.

"The camp was good, and the food was alright. The beach was fun because we saw dolphins and built sandcastles. The activities we did were archery, mini golf, orienteering, low ropes and hut building. Overall, the camp was really fun."          By P.G

"Camp was fun, I really enjoyed it! We had lots of fun activities and to my surprise, breakfast was my favourite food because it was toast. I even tried a new toast spread it was yum! I loved my cabin even though I had to sleep in the bed that was almost on the floor, we had lots of fun! Looking forward to next year!"             By O.V

"At camp there were many other activities like initiatives, archery, mini golf, orienteering, low ropes and hut building. My favourite activity was initiatives because our group had to work together and do tasks and complete obstacles. The best bit was playing with the dogs Scottie and Daisy and going on nature walks. We saw sheep, a herd of kangaroos and 2 alpacas. Overall, it was a camp I will NEVER forget."    By R.Q
