Japanese

It has been a super busy term in Japanese!  Our students had a wonderful time with the Japanese exchange students who visited us in Week 5 of term. It was so great to see the interactions between students as they participated in a variety of activities together. A huge thank you to our host families for taking such wonderful care of our guests and welcoming them into your homes.  Year 8 have almost concluded their unit on “Food” and have been busy making food samples, havig mock conversations to order food and have engaged in making onigiri and curry rice in class. By all means, ask them to make you some curry rice for dinner one night - you won’t regret it!

It is sad to think that our Year 12 students are almost at the end of their Japanese journey at school. They are such enthusiastic learners and have come such a long way with their language skills. We hope they make it to Japan sometime soon and put their Japanese skills to good use. We wish them all the best for their HSC and for the future.
