King Tut Roadshow

In early Term 3 Year 7 History students participated in the King Tut Roadshow touring exhibition. This exhibition introduces students to narratives written thousands of years ago, through state-of-the-art multimedia and enthralling displays of authentic artefacts from Ancient Egypt and other millenia-old civilisations. Students were fully immersed in a full-sensory learning experience.

$20 Boss Program

Years 9 and 10 Commerce classes have recently been involved in the $20 Boss Program.

This is a nationwide immersive entrepreneurship program whereby students are provided with $20 of start-up capital to help them create, launch and operate their own business.

Students took part in Trading Week whereby a variety of different products were sold including homemade cupcakes, candles, senior study kits, smoothies and milkshakes, fresh popcorn, sliders, lip balm and tote bags. In total, students made a profit of $1000.  This profit will be donated to Headspace Wagga Wagga.

With Year 12 concluding their final days at the College, the HSIE staff would like to wish them all the best in the upcoming HSC exams and their future endeavours. We can’t wait to hear all of the wonderful things that you achieve.
