Fire Safety Education Program 

In recent weeks our Junior students have actively engaged in a series of fire safety lessons hosted by a team from the Fire Safety Autho. During the initial visit the students learned about the distinctions of safe and unsafe fires, to 'Get down low and Go Go Go' and how to choose a safe meeting place in the event of a household fire. Yesterday students pactised the 'Stop, Drop and Roll' procedure before learning about all the important equipment housed inside a fire truck. Before leaving the firefighters gave the children the opportunity to help put out a pretend fire with their hoses.
