From the Principal

Dear families,

The countdown to our school concert is well underway, with just two weeks left before the curtains rise on our spectacular journey into discovery! I had the pleasure of checking in on some of the rehearsals over the last week to see firsthand how everything is coming together. I can confidently say that all parents and friends in the audience will be in for a delightful surprise as they witness the incredible talents on display at the concert.

A major milestone has been marked in our building project and we are delighted to share this with you. I appreciate the frustrations of delays, limited spaces and an ever-changing environment around the school - I share them too! However, this week we have gained occupancy of 2 beautiful refurbished classrooms for our Gr 1/2 students and a magnificent, welcoming administration area.

As previously mentioned, a key design feature for the project has been increasing child safety across the school through both accessibility and visibility features. Please note that the Errard Street gate and Eyre Street gate will be locked between 9am and 3:10pm. The access point during the school day is back to the main Drummond Street entrance where we look forward to welcoming you into the school.

The next stage of the building project comprises extends from the old ramp (adjacent to admin), the learning common and learning hubs as well as rooms 3, 4, 5 & 6. This is now occupied by the builders and the students and teachers are well settled in their learning spaces for this stage. There isn't a great deal of structural work in this stage, so we are anticipating a fairly smooth run in this area.

Father's Day

Happy Father’s Day to all our dads, grandfathers, father figures and special people!  We hope that this Sunday allows you a moment to reflect on the important role you have in the lives of those who look up to you. May you be blessed for your gifts of time, understanding, care, patience and love. May you always know that in the eyes of those who look up to you that you are irreplaceable.

Please join us tomorrow for the Father's Day breakfast - we'd love to see you there!
