Compliment: a polite expression of praise or admiration.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to write a compliment card for each member of your family, using these guidelines:

• Be positive.  
• Be truthful, make sure you believe what you say.   
• Be as specific as possible.   
• Think about what you like or admire about the person.   
• Consider the person’s strengths and talents

Have them write a compliment card for themselves as well!
