Our Early Learning program is available for girls and boys from 3 years of age running 5 days a week, Mondays through to Fridays, from 7.30am until 6.00pm. Our Early Learning Centre provides a warm and welcoming start to your child’s educational journey. From the moment your child joins the Mount Carmel community, they are supported and guided to grow and celebrate their individual success.
Early Childhood Professionals
Our ELC staff are qualified professionals who are passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educators. Staff have current First Aid qualifications and are encouraged to regularly attend Professional Learning workshops to keep their practices current. Our ELC staff and Kinder teachers will collaborate to support the transition of your child to school.
Learning Environment
Our Early Learning Centre is accessible from Nelson Road and provides Early Learning for children aged from 3 years old plus we also offer Education and Care for school-aged children including Before School Care, After School Care and School Holiday Care programs for our students.
Early Learning
Our tailored preschool aged program is designed for children and their individual interests, needs and abilities. Our rich and meaningful learning experiences promote development and growth in exploration, creativity and curiosity among all children. Our educators are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and uphold the National Quality Standards in their daily routines. We strongly encourage parent input into the plan and welcome feedback from the children themselves about their learning.
Flexible hours and availability
- 5 days a week, Mondays through to Fridays, from 7.30am until 6.00pm during school term time
- School Holiday Care program, 5 days a week, Mondays through to Fridays, from 7.30am until 6.00pm during school holiday time
- Casual days can be accommodated with advanced notice and provided the required staff-to-student ratio is available
