In the May edition of OVAtion we reported that Year 11 student Nayte Ackerley has been selected to represent Australia in basketball at the World Dwarf Games in Germany during July. 

He’s back and he’s back with GOLD!

Sixteen-year-old Nayte accounted for four points in Australia’s 30-3 smashing of the never-beaten USA side in the gold medal match in Cologne.

Hopefully he’ll be able to don the green and gold at the next World Dwarf Games, which will be held in Australia in 2027.
