Year 8 Heart Dissection

Year 8 Hakea Science students performed a practical investigation, ‘dissection of a heart’, as part of the learning sequence ‘Cells and Body Systems’. Students examined a real heart and explored the external and internal structure of a heart. They were highly engaged in the activity and found it a very enjoyable learning experience.
