Adrina - My favourite book character has to be Hermione from Harry Potter. She is my favourite character because she is intelligent and logical. Unlike many other characters, she knows what to do at certain times and is the reason that the book actually makes sense. If she were not there, Harry and Ron would not even have graduated which would not have ended with Harry and his friends defeating Voldemort, which would have changed the whole plot. It would be quite interesting to live in a magical world but I would definitely not exchange spots with her because it was very dangerous. Alternatively, the wizards would not have got anywhere without her brains.
Isaac - My favourite character is Peter from Hunger Games. I love his confidence and bravery that he shows throughout the series of books. He never gives up and this inspires me in my own life to keep going when things get tough or if I think I can’t achieve something. His traits and strengths are that he is respectful, caring, looks out for others and puts others first. I haven’t come across another book character like Peter before. He is pretty special and his unique way of thinking keeps me wanting to read more.
Jenna - I must say that there are many books I enjoy reading. Alexandra Jennings, or Alex from ‘Draekora’ written by Lynette Noni, is one of my favourites. In Alex’s world, Medora, people go to a school for the ‘gifted’ called Akarnae. The ‘gifted’ or ‘gifts’ are supernatural Alex’s gift is supreme willpower, meaning she can never be controlled by someone else. Alex is an inspiration to me, because as main character, she goes through many difficulties. She falls and fails, but always gets back up again fighting for a better future.
Jude - My favourite character is a Minion because they're just really funny and their dialogue is hilarious. If I had a choice to be a Minion, I would not take up the opportunity because I wouldn't want to have my boss controlling me. It was nice to see really nice to see the whole school together to celebrate the importance of Reading during Book Week. I was really impressed at the creativity of all our students.
