Level 5 Sovereign Hill Excursion
On Tuesday the 5th of September, the Level Five students went on an excursion to Sovereign Hill as part of our history unit. The students participated in many activities such as panning for gold, candle dipping, bowling and exploring an underground gold mine. They also had a chance to explore the olden day houses and the local school. We noticed how different the building were from our classrooms and houses in 2023! Students also enjoyed visiting the old-fashioned lolly store and the bakery in town.
Caleb 5E- The best part of Sovereign Hill was the mine and the gold pour. I also liked panning for gold.
