Myuna Farm Visit

On Friday 21 July Year ⅔ visited Myuna Farm.  Here are some of the highlights below:

l discovered that not all farms are the same. My favourite animal at Myuna Farm was the guinea pig. Bronson

I discovered that all food comes from a Farm. A highlight at Myuna Far was patting the animals, especially the rabbits. Caelum

At Myuna Farm, I discovered that Eastern Long Necked Lizards have the longest necks in the world. Ezra

I discovered plants need water and sunlight. Jacob

I discovered that ducks can go underwater. Brianna

I discovered that flying foxes are pollinators. A highlight for me was watching a video about bread. Emily

A highlight at Myuna Farm was seeing the kangaroos because I like kangaroos. Bryce

A highlight for me was seeing the flying foxes because I’d never seen a bat before. Jake

I discovered that rabbits are big in real life and enjoy sleeping. Florence

I discovered that a goat’s teat is warm and sort of triangular. A highlight for me was the train ride because it was very fun and the mini-train took us to the wetlands. Greta

I discovered at Myuna Farm that you can milk a female goat…we also got to milk one……I can describe it if you want…GROSS! A highlight at Myuna Farm was learning how bread is processed. (Eliza)

At Myuna Farm I discovered that Blue tongue lizards hide in bushes and pretend to be snake tails. A highlight for me was meeting Sunny the frilled neck Lizard. I wore him as a hat. Ruby

I discovered that flying foxes pollinate flowers. A highlight at Myuna Farm was feeling the wetter buffalo's horn. Jackson

A highlight for me was the train ride because I got to sit in the front. Ari
