Coding Club has come to Secondary!

We were super excited to kick off our Coding Club this week. As part of this new Club, students will learn how to code using the Python Programming Language.

Hosted by one of our Old Collegians, Sasha Petrenko, who is studying a double degree in Information Technology and Interaction Design, the Coding Club will run every Tuesday, at lunchtime, in Room 36. The course caters for beginners.

Students will have different pathways to explore as they progress through the wonderful digital world of programming. Students must bring their own laptops with permission to load the necessary software.

We look forward to our students leveling up!

R U OK? Day

On Wednesday 13 September, students from Pre-Prep to Year 12 and staff will be raising awareness for R U Ok? Day. On this day, we acknowledge the importance of stopping to ask a friend and colleague how they are. Students will participate in activities throughout the week that will help them to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them.

On Wednesday, students can wear their Sports Uniform to and from school and add a touch of yellow with an accessory.

Thank you to our Year 8s who have organised the following activities to highlight R U OK? Day!

Year 12 ATAR Trial Exams

As reflected in the College Calendar, the Year 12 ATAR Trial Exams will be held in the second week of the September Holidays, from 25 to 29 September 2023

The schedule is available at the link below.

Whilst the ATAR Trial Exams are not compulsory, students are strongly recommended to attempt these with the view to get additional practice and written feedback in the lead up to the External Exams.

In the eventuality that a student cannot attend an exam, they can collect a physical copy of the same from the relevant Head of Department, in Week 1 of Term 4. They then have the opportunity to attempt these in their own time and seek verbal feedback from their teachers on questions that they find challenging.

Students are to wear their Summer Uniform or Sports Uniform with Senior's Jersey to do the ATAR Trial Exams. Please contact Mrs Mohan if you have any further questions.
