Teaching and Learning
Term 3
We have had many exciting celebrations and events over the last few weeks with even more exciting performances to come.
National Science Week
Last week was Science Week with the theme ‘Species Survival - More than just sustainability’. The theme aims to highlight the importance of science and innovation in ensuring the survival and thriving of different species in an ever-changing world. Across the school students participated in many hands-on activities. Lower Primary carried out a range of experiments, testing and trialling with some explosive results!
2024 Children’s Book Week
This week we have celebrated a love of reading, stories and imagination as part of Children’s Book Week - Reading is Magic! It was wonderful to see students and staff embrace the week by dressing up as their favourite characters with a vast range of old and new characters to meet. Check out the 2024 Book of The Year Awards for more exciting stories to explore.
Secondary 7/8 Spectacular
It is not long now until our Year 7/8 students will be taking to the stage for the Secondary 7/8 Spectacular - Grease! Students have been rehearsing hard over the last few months and will be performing on Friday 6th September. We wish the cast and crew of Grease the best of luck and look forward to the upcoming performance!
Year 11 Presentation Ball
It is an exciting time for our Year 11 students who will soon take part in the Presentation Ball. Students have been working hard on their dances as they prepare for this special night. This event is a significant celebration for all students and families involved and we look forward to celebrating with them on Friday 30th August.
