21st Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B

This Sunday the Gospel speaks to us about Jesus acknowledging that his teachings are not easy to follow. It also highlights the importance of the Eucharist.

Below is a prayer you may like to reflect on this week.

O my Jesus, I believe in You with all my heart. I believe that You are the Holy One of God, and Your words are the words of eternal life. Even when Your teachings may be challenging, I know it is okay to wrestle with them, for they lead me on the path of true fulfillment.

In this world filled with distractions and voices that might lead me astray, I ask for the grace to hear Your voice clearly above all others. Strengthen my faith, dear Lord, so that I may follow You faithfully and navigate the obstacles of life with confidence.

When faced with difficult choices, help me seek Your guidance, Master. Grant me the wisdom to trust in You, knowing that Your Spirit gives life and leads me to eternal truth. If I should ever wander off the path of discipleship, I trust that You will call me back with love and forgiveness.

I choose to walk by faith, for You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Let Your light illuminate my journey, and may I find peace and joy in following You, my Lord and Savior. Amen.
