"Father's Day and Significant Others" Stall

All the students enjoyed another successful Fathers Day stall run by our amazing volunteers! Special thanks to Priscilla and Bao for co-ordinating and setting up the stall and to Grace, Erin, Kirsty, Karen, Emily, Eima, Courtney, Jenny, Pei-Jun, Jessica, Sonya, Heidi and Kristy for helping on the day.  Also special shoutout to the Davey, Gamble and Stephens families for their generous donations of gifts on the day!

Writing Excellence

It is with great pleasure that I let the community know that Siena, Grade 6 student, has been selected by the Victorian High Abilities Program to have her writing published.  Her piece "The Guardian Amulet" was written as part of a high abilities English program Siena completed at school in Term 2.  Students in Grade 5 and 6 are selected by the Department of Education (through NAPLAN results) and classroom teachers to participate in short courses in English and Mathematics, providing additional challenge in these areas. Congratulations to Siena on her excellent work.

Colour Run - Friday 25 October

Our Junior School Council students are busy promoting the upcoming Colour Run on Friday 25 October.  Check out their designated page in the newsletter. Come along on the day and support the runners.  We will need plenty of people with water squirters and coloured powder to help make this event very special and one to remember.
