Father’s Day Breakfast

 

The P&F Association are hosting a very special Father’s Day Breakfast from 8:00 am on Friday 30th August. All dads, grandpas and special men are invited to come along and grab a delicious egg and bacon breakfast roll while you catch up with other members of the SFS community. 

 

We are delighted to offer an egg & bacon roll to our students for a small fee of $3.00 per roll. All father’s/father figures will receive an egg and bacon roll free of charge.

Get your Father’s Day present from the Father’s Day Stall! 

It’s a chance for the kids to show their appreciation to their dad and any other important men in their lives.

 

 

 The stall will be running after first lunch, we will also re-open after school at pick up time if there is any remaining stock.

 

There will be a variety of gifts available ranging from $2.00 - $6.00 per gift. 

Siblings can purchase gifts together or separately. 

 

 

We are also looking for helpers for the breakfast and Fathers Day stall, if you can assist please complete the form on the Breakfast form 😊 

Look forward to seeing as many mums to help us with a successful fathers day! 

 

 

The P&F Association will be holding our annual Father’s Day Raffle on Friday 30th August and would greatly appreciate if each family could assist by selling a book of 5 tickets for $1.00 each ticket.

 

Winners will be pre-drawn and announced before the end of school. 

There is a limit of one prize per family to spread the joy among as many families as possible. 

All money raised will be donated to Beyond Blue, supporting men’s mental health.

We loved taking a magical journey with the kids - there was so much imagination and creativity on display.  Don’t forget to check out the display in the corridor with all the amazing entries!

 

Thank you to the teachers and staff who have helped us select the winners each week.  Don’t forget that next week is the last challenge week and there will be a new prize on offer. We can’t wait to read your short stories!

Week 4 Challenge 26 – 30 August 2024 

 

 

This is the final challenge for Book Challenge Month 2024. We hope you have enjoyed participating in the weekly competitions and we also hope that you will continue to read every day! 

Write a creative story in 30 words or less on any topic you like! 

 

We will be selecting a winning entry from each home group! 

Winners will be announced in the newsletter, and they will each receive a special prize from the PFA. One entry per student. 

All entries must be submitted to the school office by 9:30 am on Friday 30 August 2024.
